The Arc of Washington County employs individuals in the fields of independent support coordination, early intervention, respite, family support, and office administration.

 

FULL-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

Independent Support Coordinator:

Under the direction of the Associate Director of Independent Support Coordination, the individual will be responsible for promoting and supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their desired level of community involvement; listening, learning, understanding, and recording the vision, support and service needs of persons and their families; assisting the individual and family in obtaining and maintaining eligibility for supports and services for which they are entitled; assisting the person in coordinating and accessing needed supports and services consistent with the Individualized Support  Plan (ISP); and, preparing, writing, updating and monitoring the implementation of the ISP.

Qualifications include a BS or BA Degree in human services field, a minimum of 1 year related experience (Education and experience may be substituted consistent with regulations provided by DIDS). Valid Tennessee driver’s license and own transportation required.  Applicant should be able to type 40 words/minute.  Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.  The Arc of Washington County is an equal opportunity employer.
